Responsibilities:
- Manage and process motor insurance claims within turnaround time and given authority limit.
- Seek approvals for claims exceeding authorised limit.
- Handle claims enquiries via all channels from customers and claimants.
- Ensure reserves are updated in a timely and realistic manner.
- Identify and highlight any potential fraudulent claim and resolve them effectively.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and intermediaries.
- Ensure all recovery claims are pursued and followed-up periodically to ensure resolution.
- Provide mentorship to juniors.
- Conduct periodic active file review.
- Participate in system and work improvement projects when neccessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma with Certificate in General Insurance
- At least 2 years of experience in assessing and processing motor claims. Candidates who are more experienced will be considered for Senior Executive level.
