Representing the South East Asia (SEA) region in the Business Area (BA) of Milling Solutions (MS), you will drive sales and business development of MS business in SEA, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen the corporation as well as communication between the BA and the SEA region in order to achieve the regional business objectives.
Regional / Operational
- Overall responsible to drive sales in coordination with other Business Area (BA)/Business Unit (BU) leaders in SEA to ensure that targets are met
- Responsible for Orders Released and lead generation for MS in SEA
- Maintain accurate forecasting reports for BU/BA HQ
- Core interface between BA/BU HQ and SAS organization
- Customer engagement and relationship building
- Coordinate marketing activities (exhibitions, seminars, events, workshops etc.) in cooperation with BA/ BU marketing and SAS /Regional Marketing team
- Active technical and commercial support of the Sales & Service (SAS) sales team for selling (sales strategy, definition of the project requirements, product/solutions, quotation, presentations, contract negotiations, closure & order quality etc.) and for canvassing new customers and new projects
- Gateway/first contact for the SAS sales team regarding project specific issues (“The voice“ of BA).
- Define plant concept/design and technical specifications to create an accurate quotation with a clear scope to ensure the project quality and budget can be met.
- Identify market needs and ensure feedback loop to product management and technology of BA / BU HQ
- Support Project Execution (PE) Team to facilitate communication to the customer and guide complex discussions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Strategic
- Full overview of the market including competitors, thereby developing and implementing successful market strategies and MS targets in SEA.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in potential markets in collaboration with other BA / BU managers
- Enhance regional market share and brand visibility
- Define Customer Service (CS) strategies jointly with Regional CS expert and local CS Sales to grow our spare parts and service business across the region
- Develop Key Account Management strategy for the region
- Provide and consolidate price strategy
- Develop comprehensive strategic business blueprints and budget with clear growth identification and potential for equipment & customer service
People
- Partner with Country Managers in the recruitment and development of local Sales
- Organize, develop, and train local Sales network, both internal and distributors.
- Develop local sales team to handle sales and quotation phase.
- Develop a local successor/ and organization that becomes self-sustainable
Education & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7-10 years in technical sales or commercial management in capital goods industry
- Track records of driving growth and building strong customer relationship in technical products
- Good understanding and experience with MS processing plants, Sales and Fulfilment processes, sales of capital goods and investment projects
