- Develop and curate a comprehensive wine list that complements the restaurant's cuisine and reflects current trends.
- Source high-quality wines from various regions and varietals, ensuring a diverse and exceptional selection.
- Work alongside the management to maintain the wine and beverage inventories
- Stay up-to-date on wine industry news, new vintages, and emerging trends.
Guest Service
- Provide wine service to guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Offer personalized wine recommendations tailored to guests' preferences and food choices.
- Recommend guests on wine styles, regions, and food pairings, enhancing their dining experience.
Team Leadership
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the beverage service team.
- Demonstrating exceptional wine service and a passion for hospitality.
Requirement
- WSET 2 Certificate
- Relevant experience in a high-end restaurant setting
- Knowledge of wine regions, varietals, vintages, and food pairings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Passion for wine and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service
