Job Responsibilities

  • Attend calls, emails, or faxes from other agents for pre-alert
  • Receive pre-alert through email from customer service and overseas agents
  • Monitor shipments (arrival date, time, short landed, survey, missing)
  • Transfer and create job information into the system
  • Break-bulk console and direct consignments
  • Correspond with overseas offices on general import inquiries
  • Attend to customers’ requests for flight info, cargo, and delivery status, permit, Invoice, etc
  • Submit claims for missing or damaged cargo
  • Arrange delivery to the consignee’s premises
  • Attend to POD as requested by overseas counterparts
  • Respond query from the Singapore Customs – Compound, Z02, refund or approval for Temporary Import
  • Perform general import admin duties if applicable
  • Prepare and issue invoices and billings to close the jobs
  • Filing of documents
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the company’s management from time to time

Job Requirement

  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year working experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Tradenet
  • Knowledge of handling dangerous goods
  • Bilingual to liaise with bilingual associates and customers
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and handling multi-tasks
