Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive is currently seeking for experienced employment and compliance Lawyer for a 2-3 months live client assignment. This role will be supporting the end-to-end recruitment and employee onboarding process to align with employment best practice in each jurisdiction.
You will be responsible for:
- Work in collaboration with Simmons & Simmons partners to design a questionnaire/survey and identify gaps and room for improvement in their employment and recruitment related processes.
- You will do this by leading internal conversations in the form of interviews with teams such as HR, Recruitment and Payroll.
- You will in collaboration with Simmons & Simmons will produce a report or traffic light system with the identified gaps and recommendations for changes and additional policies to put in place.
Person specification:
- You are a qualified lawyer with 6-10 PQE.
- You are an employment lawyer or compliance specialist with deep understanding of employment laws and regulations from an HR perspective.
- You have excellent stakeholder management experience and ideally experience delivering on similar projects in HK or SG.
