- Marine Service & Application Engineer
- Responsible to service and deploy the innovative telemetry Solutions in marine applications.
Responsibilities:
- Create clear and attainable project plan, objectives and build project requirements
- Good in managing project constraints such as projects scope, time, budget and quality
- Active in communication such as status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team
- Able to troubleshoot, investigate and provide service and evaluation on those technical issues arise
- Ensure the projects are delivered within budget, on schedule and within scope to meet all requirements for the stakeholders
- Select the right electrical and mechanical components used in a project
- Propose electrical circuit and mechanical units required for a project
- Propose solutions based on GA, P&ID and vessel details that provided by customer.
- Provide remote service support to customer.
- Produce well written and analytical technical report for presentation
- Constant sourcing of qualified contractors and service agent in the region
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Marine or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing and commissioning products in the marine, offshore and oil & gas industry.
- Knowledge in fuel line piping and flow computing.
- Knowledge in PLC, HMI, marine communications, IT networking and common industrial protocol will be an advantage
- Experience in managing local and overseas project
- Frequent travel to monitor projects overseas in remote area and in the marine environments.
- Aptitude to acquire new skills, technical and product knowledge.
- Strong analytical, project management and strategic thinking skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with all types of Flowmeter is an advantage
