Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer/Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, handling client interactions, and managing administrative tasks such as tendering, quotations, and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems, including wiring and control systems.
- Create and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Conduct quality checks and perform diagnostics to ensure system integrity.
- Ensure all work complies with safety codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare and submit tenders and quotations for electrical projects.
- Issue Delivery Orders (DO) and manage invoicing processes for completed work.
- Liaise with customers to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical systems or relevant technical roles.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and local regulations.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and electrical software.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in mircosoft office (microsoft word, excel)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Previous experience in the field of electrical engineering
