- Assisting the Chef in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Receive and store food deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness.
- Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens.
- Managing inventory, unloading supplies and organising the storeroom.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timely execution of food orders.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
