As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Assisting with clarifying customer requirements before placing orders.
- Designing and detailing electrical schematics for various machine projects, including layout of system components, specification of electrical components, cable routing, and PLC modifications.
- Performing design-related administrative tasks such as attending project design reviews, preparing necessary documentation (e.g., electrical Bill of Materials, electrical drawings, operation manuals), and managing final electrical drawing files.
- Working within project budgets for electrical design.
- Collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Taking on the role of lead design engineer for specific project goals.
- Managing and tracking personal workload.
- Completing additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- At least an Associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
- At least three years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of the CNC machining industry.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software and MS Office
- Willingness to travel
- Understanding of industrial networking protocols
- Experience designing circuits with voltages ranging from 24VDC to 480VDC.
