Position Summary:

You'll be side by side with talented chefs, learning the ropes of food prep, kitchen magic, and keeping things spotless. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, following recipes and culinary guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and organizing workstations, ensuring that all necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment are readily available.
- Assist chefs and cooks in various cooking techniques, such as grilling, frying, baking, and sautéing, ensuring that dishes are prepared to specifications.
- Contribute to the assembly and plating of dishes, adhering to presentation standards and portion control.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, as well as sanitizing surfaces and maintaining food safety standards to create a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of equipment, safe food handling practices, and maintaining a hazard-free kitchen environment.
- Be prepared to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, including support during busy service periods and special events.
Requirements:
- Previous culinary experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
- A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess the mandatory Basic Food Hygiene Certificate for food handling is advantageous.
