Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth technical analysis and insights to the project team to ensure that the system complies with security standards and requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to address any challenges or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle, working closely with the team to balance security considerations with operational and functional requirements.
- Offer guidance on security best practices for system design and ensure alignment with the implementation plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a detailed work plan for delivering robust security solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and systematically resolve complex issues to find suitable security solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of IT experience in deploying, designing, and managing sophisticated IT security systems and services, with hands-on involvement in developing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions and architectures.
- Project Delivery: Proven track record in delivering medium to large-scale enterprise projects, with expertise in designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure security solutions.
- Technical Skills: Strong practical experience in managing security platform operations for medium to large organizations.
- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various security solutions such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Database Activity Monitoring, Data Security & Protection, Privileged Access Management (PAM), File Integrity Monitoring, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems, and more.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project execution.
- SOC Knowledge: Solid understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) management, including monitoring processes and governance frameworks.
