Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced NPI Process Engineer or Senior NPI Process Engineer to lead and support new product introductions (NPI) in the company's manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth integration of new designs into production, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement. This role is critical for our success in delivering high-quality semiconductor manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate NPI projects, ensuring seamless transition from product design to mass production.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues through data analysis methodologies such as RCA, 5 Why, and 4D problem solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure design and process alignment.
- Develop, review, and update Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for process risk assessment.
- Utilize CAD software for design validation and 3D prototyping to support product and process development.
- Implement process improvements based on data analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production teams on new product and process developments.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in DFMA, process engineering, data analysis, mechanical and electrical design, software, and CAD.
- Familiarity with FMEA and 3D prototyping techniques.
- Strong decision-making, time management, and project coordination abilities.
- Leadership and risk assessment skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, automation, Industry 4.0, and programming.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading NPI projects and cross-functional teams.
