As a Music Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide music therapy services
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams such as nursing, medical and other allied health professionals
- Develop and implement the individual treatment plan
- Review and assess the progress of the patient's condition
- Execute music intervention to improve the patient care
- Provide clinical reports and records in proper documentations
- Adhere to the compliance, safety guidelines and SOPs
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings and family meetings
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- At least a Degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution with national credentials - MT-BC(USA), HCPC (UK), RMT (Australia & Canada), RMth (NZ) and IACAT (Ireland)
- Possess working experience with geriatric / dementia patients
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
