As a Manager, Healthcare Performance & Innovation Office, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist leadership in creating, planning, and executing continuous improvement and innovation initiatives that comply with National Healthcare Standards.
- Design, implement, and tailor training and practical application programs focused on Lean Thinking, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Lead events, projects, and workshops, offering guidance on Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Process Preparation (2P), and 6S methodologies.
- Mentor a group of trained in-house facilitators.
- Promote and enhance innovation and digital transformation efforts.
- Launch and manage the Quality Improvement Project awards.
- Organize the annual Quality & Safety Festival.
- Coordinate surveys initiated by MOH, AIC, or RH (CGH) (e.g., Patient Safety Culture Survey, Patient Experience Survey), analyze the results, and implement improvement actions.
- Work with external organizations on quality enhancement initiatives, such as organizing Quality Conferences and collaborative improvement projects across institutions.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
Responsibilities:
- A degree in Business / Industrial Design / Engineering / Medicine / Nursing / Pharmaceutical Science
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is highly preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Healthcare
- Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting training
- Experience in applying Design Thinking framework and other human-centric design techniques, including persona development, jobs-to-be-done, crafting of insights, journey mapping, rapid prototyping and the building of wireframes, clickable or physical prototypes is highly preferred
- Experience in design and marketing will be an added advantage
