As an Assistant Superintendent (Welfare Home), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Ensure residents receive appropriate attention and support in line with the Destitute Persons Act and MSF regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to standards set by relevant authorities.
- Oversee all operations of the welfare home to ensure adherence to the Destitute Persons Act and associated regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene Guidelines regarding food hygiene practices.
- Assign duties to staff and ensure clarity of responsibilities.
- Conduct staff development initiatives and performance assessments.
- Evaluate and improve the quality and relevance of home programs and services.
- Facilitate job opportunities for residents and organize recreational activities.
- Ensure compliance with Service Standards Requirements Guidelines, focusing on financial governance.
- Prepare budgets and monitor cash flow in accordance with established policies.
- mplement recommendations from the Board of Visitors as feasible.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and the Management Committee.
- Participate in the planning and execution of work plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree, preferably in Social work or Psychology
