Payroll & Commission Officer

Responsible for processing commission statements and paying commissions to advisors. Handling commission inquiries from the platform. Data extraction relating to regulatory reporting (Balanced Scorecard). Participation in User Acceptance Test (UAT)


6 Month contract


Responsibilities:

  • Process and balance commission statements with investment account records.
  • Upload commission transactions for approval and clear any exceptions.
  • Communicate with product providers on commission-related issues.
  • Address commission inquiries from the sales platform.
  • Cover for team members during absences as directed.
  • Annually review and update commission processing workflows.
  • Extract monthly data for Compliance team sampling and regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for compliance with commission clawbacks and grading.
  • Coordinate with Risk and Compliance on reporting template updates.
  • Participate in UAT for project initiatives and system enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma / Degree
  • Competency in all other MS programs; especially in MS Excel (Intermediate Level preferred)
  • Comprehension and interest in mathematical processes
  • Experience administering commissions software/system
  • Relationship building skills
