Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Services Officer (Housekeeper) to support our Customer Services Business Unit and the organization in achieving our vision, mission, and core values. You play a vital role in ensuring a positive and supportive living environment for students. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our students and staff. By maintaining cleanliness and following established protocols, you contribute to cultivating trust, commitment, and a client-centric approach. Your attention to detail and dedication to excellence will create a positive experience for our students, aligning with our mission of providing a hassle-free solution and a family-like environment.


Responsibilities and Competencies:

  1. Perform cleaning duties according to established standards and protocols, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in student living spaces.
  2. Clean and sanitize common areas, bedroom, kitchen, toilets, wardrobes and other designated spaces.
  3. Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices are followed.
  4. Educate and coach students on the importance of cleanliness and provide guidance on maintaining a clean and tidy living environment.
  5. Serve as a positive role model, promoting responsibility, mutual respect, and sense of community among students.
  6. Ensure that rooms and beds for new students are clean, well-furnished, and welcoming.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cleaning equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
  8. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
  9. Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, reporting any concerns or issues related to cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • O'Level or ITE in relevant discipline e.g. hospitality management or business.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and possess basic English communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
  • Being a role model with the ability to instil positive values in students.
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia and other languages will be a bonus.
