Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Services Officer (Housekeeper) to support our Customer Services Business Unit and the organization in achieving our vision, mission, and core values. You play a vital role in ensuring a positive and supportive living environment for students. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our students and staff. By maintaining cleanliness and following established protocols, you contribute to cultivating trust, commitment, and a client-centric approach. Your attention to detail and dedication to excellence will create a positive experience for our students, aligning with our mission of providing a hassle-free solution and a family-like environment.
Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Perform cleaning duties according to established standards and protocols, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in student living spaces.
- Clean and sanitize common areas, bedroom, kitchen, toilets, wardrobes and other designated spaces.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices are followed.
- Educate and coach students on the importance of cleanliness and provide guidance on maintaining a clean and tidy living environment.
- Serve as a positive role model, promoting responsibility, mutual respect, and sense of community among students.
- Ensure that rooms and beds for new students are clean, well-furnished, and welcoming.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cleaning equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, reporting any concerns or issues related to cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements:
- O'Level or ITE in relevant discipline e.g. hospitality management or business.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and possess basic English communication skills.
- Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
- Being a role model with the ability to instil positive values in students.
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia and other languages will be a bonus.
