Intermediate Support Analyst

Position

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a Support Analyst to join our Risk, Compliance, Referentials & Finance IT (RFI) Department of the company.

The person we are looking for would provide Level 1 and Level 2 support on applications within our scope. At the same time, he/she should be able to manage good relationship with any stakeholder with good verbal and writing communication skills.


Main responsibilities

Within the team, the successful candidate has to:

  • Understand the key concepts and methods of support functions within the company. Understand the scope of support within the department.
  • Control and maintain healthy environment for the applications within scope.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support with good quality of service and response.
  • Be in the forefront of communications and having good relationship with customers and any stakeholder involved.
  • Perform duties following a shift organization (Singapore time, Europe time)

Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory Skills:

  • Having 6+ years of expertise in application support,
  • Having good understanding and exposure to SQL language,
  • Having proven experience on issues and root causes analysis
  • Having good ability to express and explain with both technical and non-technical terms verbally and in writing,
  • Experience in scripting languages (Windows or Unix) and command lines (Linux)
  • Experience supporting applications using Kafka and API
  • Having good experience in managing incidents, requests and problems resolution,
  • Ability to support multiple applications in parallel,
  • Experience using Jira, Metis and Confluence tools,
  • Experience monitoring CTRL-M jobs,
  • Assess priorities and act accordingly
  • Understand concepts of IT Production environment and deployment process,
  • Understand concepts of ITIL.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in application development life-cycle,
  • Experience in working with application monitoring and automation,
  • Experience in any BI Reporting Tool (SAP BO, MSBI, etc.),
  • Exposure to Financial domain applications.

Other Professional Skills and Mindset

  • Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent,
  • Very good analytical abilities with strong detail orientation; problem solving abilities,
  • Ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies,
  • Be very responsive,
  • Proficient written and oral communication, including technical writing,
  • Keen to land a helping hand to others, to train junior colleagues,
  • Great organization skills,
  • Team player mindset,
  • Honest, understanding and respect of cultural diversity.
