I- Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Management and site supervision of all jobs under your preview including cost control, manpower deployment and ensuring all jobs are completed in accordance to the terms and conditions of the contract with the employers/customers.
  • Attending site meetings to monitor status of project and ensuring that Chubb’s interest in so far it relates to the contract with customer is protected. This shall include ensuring that Minutes of meeting relating to Chubb’s work is accurate.
  • To liaise with Architects and Consultant with the ultimate aim of providing accurate feedback on the progress of works, technical compliance to specification, variation claims.
  • Procurement of materials and delivery to site in a timely manner in accordance to site progress and within Project’s budget.
  • Proper and timely issuance of the documentation of project including variation orders, extension of times, test procedures, minutes of meetings, purchase orders, operations and maintenance manual including final closing out of projects files in accordance to the ISO procedure.
  • To coordinate necessary manpower and state of system to ensure inspections with relevant authorities and site representatives are a success.
  • To provide timely information to the drafting section for the preparation of shop drawings, penetration drawings etc.
  • Site coordination with all concerned parties and to resolve site problems.
  • To ensure rectification works are in accordance to the specifications of the contract.
  • If the need ever arises, you may be assigned any other duties either in the Fire Safety or in any other department from time to time.

II- Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related certificate
  • Applicants must have 3 years of working experience in fire protection for the construction industry, with experience with working with LTA
  • Computer literate and a good team player
  • Ability to work independently and communicate at all levels
  • Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage
