About Us: The Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) or AAIS, is a not-for-profit corporate membership organisation representing 190 Aerospace and related companies. We serve as the voice of industry to influence future directions and policies, facilitate business, and engender the development of the industry community.


Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Executive to join our Events team on a part-time and contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, including tradeshows, seminars, and business missions. This role offers part-time/flexi-time and hybrid working options, providing excellent work-life balance and flexibility.


Key Responsibilities:

- Event Planning and Management:

  • Research and propose an annual line-up of events to be organised.
  • Develop and implement event strategies and plans, including curating of content and sourcing/managing of speakers.
  • Write and post seminar briefs/speaker profiles and managing registration via the event management e-platform.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

- Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with team members to align event objectives with business goals.
  • Reach out and build/maintain relationships with potential sponsors, external partners and vendors.

- Budget Management & Marketing:

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing mid to large-scale events.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
