About the role:
The Finance Executive will join our Regional TabSquare Finance team (based in Singapore). The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in managing finance work.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Review and validate signed contracts for completeness and accuracy
- Preparing and sending invoices to customers
- Address and resolve billing queries promptly and professionally
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams
- Following up with customers and ensuring timely payment of invoices and receipt of withholding tax slips from customers whenever applicable
- Checking and posting of receipts to the accounting system
- Posting of supplier invoices into the accounting system and computing withholding tax (if any) and preparing payment for suppliers
- Preparation and filing of withholding tax slips, whenever applicable
- Preparation of tax filings
- Manage relationships with external accounts and tax advisors. Facilitate communication and information exchange to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly schedules and help out with monthly closing activities
- Take on various other financial projects as required
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned to Finance related areas
Minimum requirement
- Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines
- Fresh Finance graduates are also welcome. 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting is preferred.
- Experience in the e-commerce or Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) industry a plus
- Demonstrable knowledge in statutory reporting requirements and IFRS standard
- User of Quickbooks (or similar accounting systems), and/or SAP will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and strong analytical abilities, experience with Google Suite is a plus
- Strong critical thinking, employs a proactive approach and can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
