Job Summary

As the Project Manager for Clinical Systems, you will lead a team in implementing and managing clinical IT projects within the healthcare organisation. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to develop project objectives and scope, gathering detailed requirements, managing resources, timeline, budgets and ensuring vendor compliance. You will work closely with operations, clinical teams, and IT support to ensure that project outcomes align with operation needs and deliver value to stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee day-to-day end-user support and the maintenance of existing clinical systems in coordination with supporting vendors.


Job Description:


Specifics

  • Managing SATA’s existing clinical applications and implementing new IT systems, gathering user requirements ensuring that system implementation meet users’ requirements. Manage and provide guidance to the application team.
  • Project Management: Develop and document project objectives, scope, stakeholder involvement, cost-benefit analysis, outcomes, and key deliverables. Work closely with process owners and stakeholders to integrate technical and application components to identify solution to meet business process requirements.
  • Project Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements. Ensure proper documentation of the new/existing system specifications, software change management and control procedures for all systems.
  • Resource and Budget Management: Plan and manage project resources, budget, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Data & Cyber security: Ensure system adhere to healthcare regulations and standards, such as PDPA, ISO 27001, HIPAA and other data protection laws relevant to clinical information systems.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance, and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) for systems and solutions support. Liaise closely with vendors in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches, upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, issues, and changes to management and committees.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies and collaborate with stakeholders on emerging technology initiatives. Identify, source and recommend new innovative functionalities and IT solutions that add value to SATA’s future operation needs.
  • In-House Solutions: Advise on, develop, and implement in-house IT solutions and conduct user training. Work closely with the IT team to support the daily operations of SATA’s systems, account management, network and IT infrastructure support.
  • Assist Head of IT in the planning of annual IT budgets and projects planning.


General

  • Support and assist Head of IT on other corporate initiatives and non-IT related events.
  • Work closely with the infrastructure and network team to ensure maximum system stability and uptime
  • Any other duties and tasks as assigned by Head of Information Technology.
