Job Description:
- Ensure financial reporting aligns with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies, and local regulatory requirements, including those from MAS.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks; develop financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommendations for action.
- Work closely with finance, risk, and business units to align analytics efforts with overall business objectives and improve financial outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and forecasting models that support the bank’s long-term goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and analytics, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Leverage advanced analytics tools and platforms to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of financial strategies, providing insights for adjustments as necessary.
- Review MAS reports generated by the team and address any queries raised by MAS.
- Analyze daily management reports and evaluate the branch's financial performance.
- Engage in system development and enhancement projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, preferably with a CA qualification.
- At least 6 years of financial and accounting experience in the banking sector.
- Extensive experience in financial analysis, regulatory reporting, and comprehensive financial and accounting functions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong skills in completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Capable of managing multiple responsibilities as needed.
