Job Responsibilities
- Issue of PO and update in purchasing system
- Shipment co-ordination with vendor, customer and shipping agents for import and export with knowledge of Bill of Lading, permits and BCA approval
- Oversees stock control and support project materials delivery requirements
- Maintain good working relationships with new and existing key suppliers to manage delivery and product quality
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors
- Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
- Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
- Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
- Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
Job Requirements
- Familiar with Materials, Machineries & Equipment's in Construction Sector.
- Min Diploma or its equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience, and preferable in the Construction and Civil Engineering Industry
- A team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills
- 5 days work week
