ILC Singapore (ILC-S) is a Tsao Foundation initiative. It aims to promote the wellbeing of older people and contribute to national development through initiating research and forging collaborations which inform policy, facilitate policy-action translation and promote quality, effective practice in Singapore and the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Development: Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of programme activities, including training sessions, and job placement events.
- Community Engagement: Engage with community organizations to identify and recruit participants into the programme.
- Employers Outreach: Outreach and account manage employers in specific geographical locations.
- Event Planning: Assist in the planning and coordination of programme events and activities.
- Research and Data Collection: Assist to run focus group discussions and surveys to gather information about the needs and barriers.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the programme.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in program management, community development, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to facilitate comminucations with seniors.
- Proficiency in budget management and program evaluation.
- Empathy and commitment to improving the lives of seniors.
- Passion for working with and empowering workforce development.
This is a 2-year contract and salary range is indicative and will commensurate with qualification and experience.
