Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SWIFT AMH Developer to manage the development, configuration, optimization, and support of SWIFT AMH applications. The role involves both production and user support, along with report generation using the AMH database and native SQL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining system stability and delivering solutions for business-as-usual operations and new projects within the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and support all technical activities related to SWIFT AMH applications for both business-as-usual operations and project delivery.
· Develop reports from the SWIFT AMH database using native SQL to meet business requirements.
· Monitor and maintain production stability by tracking and managing issues, reducing recurrences, and implementing change control processes.
· Collaborate with technical support and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing complete root cause analysis (RCA) to projects.
· Oversee and ensure timely upgrades of software and hardware related to the SWIFT AMH system.
· Build and maintain project confidence through demonstrable technical expertise and experience.
· Participate in recovery and business continuity activities as required.
· Research and evaluate new technologies, products, and techniques to address future banking needs and enhance existing systems.
· Lead, coordinate, and track the performance of assigned development teams, business analysts, and systems analysts, ensuring timely remediation of issues.
Requirements:
· 4-8 years of experience as a SWIFT or Java Developer.
· Strong experience with the SWIFT AMH tool, including generating reports from the AMH database using SQL.
· Solid understanding and practical application of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
· Proven experience in the development and implementation of at least one major application.
· Proficiency with Oracle databases, Linux OS, APIs, and Agile methodologies.
· Deep knowledge and experience with SWIFT and AMH systems in a banking environment.
· Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices for production and user support.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
