Job Description:
This role focuses on creating and implementing fundraising strategies, developing grant proposals, researching new funding opportunities, building relationships with major donors, and collaborating with leadership and board members to achieve fundraising goals. The emphasis on strategic development and donor relations aligns well with these titles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet fundraising goals.
- Prepare and deliver grant proposals to potential donors and grant makers.
- Explore and nurture new fundraising opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key donors.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Communications and Partnerships, the Executive Director, and the Board Fundraising Chair.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising or a similar position within a non-profit organization or the social services sector.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising efforts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of performing well under pressure.
- Excellent team player who can also work independently.
