About the Role
We are looking for someone who is keen to join us in advocating for a society where every migrant worker lives a life of health, well-being and dignity, through integrated marketing & communications (marcomms) and community engagement efforts. This position is part of our Corporate Services Team, which works closely with diverse stakeholders to bridge and build communities.
Responsibilities
- Actively assist in developing and executing HealthServe’s integrated marcomms strategies and associated work plans aimed at advocating for migrant workers’ needs and well-being; engaging and growing the HealthServe community
- Work closely with various services teams (i.e. medical, mental health, casework) to understand and address their needs through effective marcomms across channels (e.g. websites, social media, edm)
- Drive the management and growth of the HealthServe brand and online community channels via the planning and implementation of an integrated digital marcomms strategy in line with HealthServe’s communications objectives
- Actively support in the conceptualising, implementing, optimising and reporting of marcomms campaigns (e.g. fundraising, volunteer recruitment)
- Engage or interview internal and/ or external stakeholders (e.g. migrant workers, donors, volunteers, translators as well as agencies/ vendors) where required
- Actively support in planning and managing HealthServe’s community bridging events
- Conduct and evaluate market research to distil insights from best practices to guide our strategies
Requirements/ Skills
- At least 1-2 years working experience in any of the following functions: digital/ social media marketing, content marketing, public relations/ communications, journalism, events
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong in graphic design and/ or video production
- Good interpersonal skills; enjoys interacting with people from different cultures and religions
- Able to multi-task and work well with a diverse group of professionals from the public and private sectors as well as volunteers, donors and beneficiaries
- Proficiency in Tamil/ Bengali/ Mandarin a bonus
- Relevant experience in the social sector a bonus
- Event management experience a bonus
- Creative, self-motivated, resourceful
- Strong team player
- Passionate about working with marginalised groups
Monthly Gross Salary Range
- 3000 SGD to 3800 SGD
