Your Mission
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the overall electrical maintenance of various electrically powered and controlled machinery and equipment.
What To Expect
- Plan and direct preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Develop training programs to enhance the capabilities of maintenance engineers and technicians, including relevant technical knowledge and new equipment and technologies.
- Devise and implement continuous improvement plans for manufacturing equipment.
- Allocate and monitor the maintenance budget and expenditures.
- Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance for ad-hoc issues.
- Maintain appropriate inventory and stock levels of spare parts.
- Manage maintenance service suppliers, including machinery maintenance service providers, through regular contracts and other methods to ensure consistent high-quality performance.
- Support the maintenance department in managing key maintenance metrics such as budget, downtime, personnel, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and computer systems.
- Regularly report work status and key metrics.
- Comply with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), laws, and internal guidelines.
- Lead and guide maintenance technicians in their work as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in the automated manufacturing industry preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience with electrical systems such as motors (SEW, Siemens), circuit breakers (SE), and contactors (SE).
- 1-5 years of experience with control systems such as PLC (Siemens), sensors (IFM, SICK), and relays (Omron).
- Basic to intermediate level in Siemens PLC, industrial ethernet protocols (PROFINET, EtherCAT, MODBUS TCP) and IO-LINK sensors and masters (install, fix, change, and re-setup).
- Basic to intermediate level in installation and setup of Siemens servo drives, inverters, motors and AC induction motors.
- Understanding of electrical wiring schematic drawing tools, power distribution panels, components, and grounding.
- Understanding of electrical systems, equipment, machinery and electropneumatic circuits.
- Knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of SAP preventive and material management modules.
- Proficiency in MS Office skills and AutoCAD.
