Main Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician for Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree to join our Engineering Team. You will ensure that the facilities of our Resort are operating seamlessly, providing timely repairs and maintenance to enhance guest satisfaction and uphold our Resort’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from our Resort’s associates and guests, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems to minimize downtime.
- Assist the supervisors in the setup and maintenance of the Resort’s events and functions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including reports on repairs and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the Resort’s policies.
Job Requirements
- Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or an equivalent professional certificate
- Minimum 1 year of similar experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Fresh grads are welcome to apply.
- Able to work and coordinate with contractors in all work-related activities.
- Strong communication and organizational and skills.
- Able to commit to after office hours duties when required and/or shift work.
