This advertisement is for recruiting for the position of Admin Support Staff.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in King’s Road.
Contract Period: From 01 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 years from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours :
Total 42 work hours per week (both school term and school holidays):
- Mondays to Thursdays : 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break.
- Fridays : 9:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazette public holidays. If it is required, it should not exceed two (2) Saturdays a year.
- The work hours during the contract period are subject to change by the school, so as to meet school operational needs.
The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:
The personnel will report to the Administrative Manager (AM)
Reception:
- Frontline Customer service - manage reception counter, handle incoming phone calls and inquiries from stakeholders, including general public and parents.
- Assist students who are unwell/injured in the sick bay. Administer basic first aid for students if necessary.
- Logging of lost and found items and keeping track of school keys that are signed out.
- Assist in the setup of the Conference Room for meetings.
- Packing of resources for timely distribution to students and/or teachers.
Administrative Support
- Provide support in matters related to students, for example
- Assist in P1 registration and P1 Orientation.
- Assist in administration of students on Leave of Absence (LOA) and act as point of contact with LOA parents.
- Assist in P6 DSA application and S1 Posting.
- Updating student details in school cockpit and filing of student documents.
- Assist with daily General Office administrative duties such as maintaining records and managing office supplies.
- Provide support to school events where necessary.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the School Leaders and AM
Personnel is to sign an undertaking to safeguard official information.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- GCE O Level (or equivalent).
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Good interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
- Comfortable with handling different profile of stakeholders.
- Pleasant and patient in dealing with both parents and school children.
- Self-initiated and ability to multitask with good time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Conversant in both English and Mandarin.
In addition, the personnel should preferably have:
- Previous similar working experience in MOE school(s).
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
