We are looking for Purchasing Specialist to be outsourced to our clients from the healthcare industry.
Job Description:
- Collaborate closely with the Planning Department to understand demand requirements.
- Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders based on system-generated requisitions, ensuring all orders are delivered punctually.
- Actively monitor material deliveries according to the SIOP plan to prevent any shortages that could affect production.
- Conduct weekly inventory assessments to meet raw material inventory targets.
- Track and manage supplier performance.
- Review excess and obsolete inventory and manage last-time buy activities to reduce obsolescence risk.
- Streamline processes and promote continuous improvement in performance as well as customer and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in any course
- Candidates with experience in purchasing materials, with a background in manufacturing is preferred.
- Able to commence work within short notice
