RESPONSIBILITIES
The FAM@FSC provides counselling to support early risk marriages due to challenges faced by minor and transnational couples, couples facing marital conflicts and undergoing divorce.
We are looking for passionate people who wants to work with couple and family.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Early-risk marriage support (minor and transnational couples, divorce support and family & marital counselling)
- Offer group work and other interventions to families facing challenges; and work with relevant partners to promote the welfare of the clients
- Proficient in various counselling approaches (e.g., systemic) and tools to help with clients' concerns
- Deliver clinical supervision for staff's professional development
- Manage the budget and statistics monthly
- Master of Counselling
Key Requirements
- 5 years of experience in counselling individuals, couples, and families (e.g.court cases) independently, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Postgraduate qualification in counselling by accredited institutions under the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
- Preferably a registered counsellor with SAC
- Minimum of 50 hours of training in Clinical Supervision
- Excellent written (e.g. report writing) and presentation skills
- People-oriented, committed, adept at multitasking, and brings a positive "can-do" attitude
