Responsibilities:
Post Contract:
· Preparation of budgets
· Filing of variations/ monitoring of project variations
· Advise site team on contractual issues
· Valuing completed works and Filing of progress claims
· Monitoring of procurement process
· Attendance of site/technical meetings
· Drafting of subcontracts
· Preparation of cost assessment for Variation Orders
· EOT claims preparation
· Evaluation of price comparison summary
· Conducting site measurements
· Review and understand all plans and specifications
· Arranging meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction if required
· Built-up rates for costing purpose
· Coaching of QSes
Tender:
· Carry out quantity take-off for project which includes sourcing for supplier and sub-contractor, collate price for comparison
· Prepare tender and contract documents
· Prepare and analyse costings for tender
· Perform risk, value management and cost control
· Responsible for collecting, sorting, check other bidding calculation of quantities
· Accountable for reviewing tender documents, drawings and quantity taking-off
· Prepare quotations for various technical works, material, manpower etc
Requirements:
· Degree or Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying.
· Min 5 years’ experience in Senior role, preferably from Main Contractor
· Well-versed in both Contracts Administration and Tenders
· Experience in Good Class Bungalow or landed houses project Is added advantages.
· Possess good negotiation and coordination skills
· Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people from all levels.
· Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem solving skills, proactive, good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision
