Responsibilities:
- Review and comment on topside models, drawings and material handling plan prepared by
- engineering subcontractor
- Ensure the latest available technical information are used.
- Follow up on open comments
- Verify implementation of agreed solution to closed comments
- Coordinate with PREs to ensure parameters in Master Equipment List and Weight Control Report are filled correctly
- Compile MTO of topside equipment fasteners & insulations to procurement
- Understand IM requirements that are applicable to the discipline and provide assistance, guidelines to the team.
- Coordinate on the database development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Specialized courses in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are highly beneficial.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Cadmatic 3D, Navisworks, SP3D and etc.
