Material Development Engineer (R&D / Reuse Metal / Material Science)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new process to recycle and reuse metal scraps.
• Research and develop process of upcycling of metal scraps (titanium/aluminum alloy).
• Research of recycling of 3DP metal powders and reduction of raw material cost.
• Provide development plan and risk mitigation for projects to management.
• Create new IPs in Singapore in area of expertise.
• Planning your own work and taking responsibility for project delivery.
• Manage collaboration projects with Institute of Higher Learning or Research Institutes on new material or new technology development.
• Overseas process development support for short term assignments.

Qualification:

• Masters/PhD in either specialty

1. Materials science
2. Metal material engineering
3. Analytical chemistry

• Prefer to have at least 2 years of relevant R&D working experience
• Must have experience in metal material development and qualification in either mold, fixture, or product
• Must have material charaterisation knowledge
• Good to have knowledge in metal powder production process
• Good to have knowledge of recycled materials
