Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including but not limited to, inventory management, and financial reporting.
・Overseeing all guest experiences for the restaurant, recognising and welcoming guests upon their return visits to the restaurant.
・To be highly engaging with guests and colleagues on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
・Engage with guests in conversation so as to build a strong rapport between themselves and the restaurant.
・Takes ownership - effective in dealing with guests’ accidents, incidents, complaints and preferences.
・Involved in the daily restaurant operations; ensure the quality and consistency of all products meet desired standards
・Managing stocks and inventories
・Building and maintaining guest relationships
・Attending to any feedback or complaints
・Maintaining a good housekeeping regime and report any defects in furniture, fixtures and equipment
・Participating in and lead training sessions, briefings and team meetings
・Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
・Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms)
・Supervise and support the restaurant staff, including servers, by providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
・Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, to create a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
