We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in the successful execution of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project operations, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring timely delivery of project objectives. This individual will be hands-on, working on the ground to run projects effectively and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Experience in managing project in Agile/ Waterfall.
- Take ownership of project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Oversee day-to-day project operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and coordination of activities to ensure smooth project progress.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by effectively communicating project status, risks, and milestones, and proactively addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans and schedules to meet business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for service agreement escalation, addressing any service-related issues and coordinating resolution with relevant teams.
- Ensure projects deliver on time and within budget by closely monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or delays, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in project management and execution, preferably in the government sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within specified deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software – e.g. Jira, Trello and etc
