Job Description:
- To administer finance policies and procedures on expense management,
- To manage the IT platform for expenditure approval workflow
- To review, process and manage the expenditure requests, including project budget requests and follow up on post implementation reviews.
- To perform/provide ad hoc expense analysis for the purpose of budget control, procedure review, and/or reporting.
- To monitor and track project spend/budget and escalate any issue in a timely manner
- To assist in general expense budget control (including business planning where appropriate) and expense reporting functions.
- To perform periodic QA reviews
- To assist in tracking and follow up on governance issues throughout the Division.
- To assist and support activities during period of parallel run of systems.
- Provide support on ad hoc tasks assigned under Finance Governance.
Requirements:
- Accounting knowledge or qualification
- Analytical and logical
- Detailed and meticulous
- This role is required to manage internal stakeholders as well as various control/audit functions. The candidate should have strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Self-driven
- About 8 to 10 years permanent working experience, preferably in a regulated industry
- Knowledge and/or experience in life insurance, financial accounting and/or SOX
- Only Singaporean or PR
