Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee database management activities, including upgrades, patching, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ensure database backup, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning are in place and regularly maintained.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation for all database management activities.
- Establish and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure data integrity and security.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience in scripting, query tuning, and optimization.
- Familiarity with system development and integration processes.
- Experience in banking/financial industry is a MUST.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving database issues.
