Job purpose:
· To assist Transshipment Manager in managing SeaLead global transshipment operations.
· To ensure fast connection of transshipment containers with minimum cost exposure.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
· To maintain and ensure that transshipment master list is updated with corresponding connecting vessels including the ETD at TS port and ETA at FPOD.
· Liaison with transshipment port agent team to ensure that all TS containers are properly planned and connected on earliest vessel possible.
· To attend transshipment port agent escalation to find alternative solutions in evacuating idling containers to FPOD.
· To attend agent and commercial enquiries on correct vessel routing.
· Liaison with POL and trade concern for any potential long idling due to vessel omission / blanking or space constraint.
· Liaison with POL and trade concern for any additional cost to incur on alternative connections.
· Weekly monitoring of broken trips and making sure that GSC are religiously clearing / correcting the broken trips.
· To monitor and check whether GSC TS desk have completed update of trip plan in SAP for all transshipment bookings.
· To coordinate with SeaLead capacity team for the next connection vessel in cases of re-routing of transshipment port of discharge due to port omission.
Perform other duties assigned by immediate manager.
