Overview of Role:
The software engineer in involved in development, production, user support, configuration and optimisation of the SWIFT AMH applications. He/She is to assist in generating reports using AMH Database and native SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to support, coordinate and lead all technical activities regarding solutions delivery for both business-as-usual and project delivery.
- Responsible for development of reports from SWIFT AMH Database.
- Collaborate with technical support and development teams to drive resolution.
- Provide a complete RCA to the client.
- Track and review the performance of the assigned team or developers and the business/systems analysts, and to remediate any issues.
- Monitor and review production stability - to manage amount of issues, re-occurrence, processes, and change control.
- Ensure the upgrade of all software and hardware.
- Participate in disaster recovery/business continuity activities as needed.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, products and techniques that could meet future banking needs.
Requirements :
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a SWIFT or Java Developer.
- Experience with Swift, AMH tool in the banking sector.
- Experience in creating reports using AMH database.
- Experience in the development, implementation of at least one major application.
- Experience with software development methodologies.
- Strong understanding and experience in SDLC and in application of agile principles.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge or experience in SQL, Linux OS, Api’s, Agile Methodology.
