As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure and deploying highly scalable, reliable, and secure systems. You will collaborate closely with software developers, IT operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and ensure robust cloud services. The role involves automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- CI/CD Pipeline: Develop, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable smooth and fast software releases.
- Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Security: Ensure cloud security best practices are implemented, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Incident Response: Provide support during incidents, identifying and mitigating issues to maintain high availability and performance.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and system management using tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud Platforms: Expertise in cloud services and architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- IaC: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cloud security practices and tools.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent certifications.
- Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservices architecture and serverless applications.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud: Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of Networking: Experience with cloud networking concepts (VPC, VPN, Subnets, etc.).
