Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily facilities operations of the building, ensuring all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, are functioning efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness standards are met.
- Respond to and resolve issues related to building systems and services, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Act as the designated Fire Safety Manager for the property, ensuring compliance with all fire safety regulations.
- Conduct regular fire drills, training sessions, and inspections of fire safety equipment such as alarms, extinguishers, and fire exits.
- Maintain all fire safety documentation and ensure that the building complies with local fire safety regulations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for key systems and equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate routine maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and servicing.
- Oversee contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality service.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services such as repairs, cleaning, landscaping, and security.
- Ensure all service agreements are adhered to and that vendors comply with the property’s quality and safety standards.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts for cost efficiency and quality control.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Building / Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management
- Must be FSM certified
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
