Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the building, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Manage the building's security systems, access control, and overall safety protocols.
- Act as the designated Fire Safety Manager (FSM) for the building, ensuring all fire safety regulations are adhered to.
- Conduct regular fire drills, fire safety training, and inspections of fire safety equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date fire safety records and ensure compliance with local fire safety codes and regulations.
- Implement and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for all building equipment and systems to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Manage and supervise repairs or upgrades as required, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
- Source and manage third-party vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
- Negotiate service agreements, review contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality service delivery.
- Monitor and manage the facility budget, including expenses related to maintenance, repairs, utilities, and vendor contracts.
- Provide regular reports on operating costs, maintenance activities, and budget forecasts to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Building / Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management
- Strong knowledge in M&E building maintenance work
- Must be FSM certified
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Class 3 driving license is a plus to have
