Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of sustainability programs across all facilities.
- Ensure the organization’s sustainability goals and strategies are integrated into day-to-day facilities operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure all sustainability practices are being upheld.
- Support energy and water conservation efforts by monitoring consumption and identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyze utility data to determine trends and recommend energy-efficient solutions for building operations.
- Oversee energy audits, and identify cost-saving opportunities related to energy, water, and other resources.
- Ensure the facilities are in compliance with all local environmental laws and sustainability requirements.
- Prepare and submit documentation to certification bodies for green building certifications.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing waste and managing waste disposal in an eco-friendly manner.
- Implement recycling programs and ensure compliance with waste management policies.
- Track and report on waste reduction and diversion rates.
- Collect and analyze data related to sustainability metrics such as energy use, waste generation, and carbon footprint.
- Prepare regular sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sustainability goals.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability best practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability certifications.
- Identify sustainability risks and opportunities for improvement in facility operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Environmental / Sustainability / Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant sustainability experience in the facilities management industries.
- Must have experience in energy management and building systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and analytical skills
