Senior Manager (Compensation and benefits)
The person will be leading the compensation and benefits (C&B) team. This entails the development of planning and implementation of C&B programs, policies and procedures in close partnership with key stakeholders, different entities and Management.
Responsibilities
- Project manage end to end processes of planning and implementation of relevant policies and programs and co-ordinate the relevant key strategic C&B processes, working with HR BPs to interface with the HODs
- Review, develop and drive the design and implementation of C&B policies and projects in alignment with Head office’s policies and directions. This includes day to day management of activities as well as working closely with key stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of rewards services to staff.
- Provide informed perspectives to Center of Excellence (COE) and other stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of existing policies, guidelines and procedures by proposing plan revision that reflects business needs
- Provide advice to HR partners and other stakeholders on pay decisions, policy and guideline, interpretation and job evaluation.
- Develop change management strategy, communication plans and activities including preparing materials and organising sessions to engage management and staff in the implementation of various pay policies.
- Work closely with Shared Services team on operational matters to ensure compliance and data integrity
- Manage the manpower budgeting during budget planning cycle
- Handle compensation and benefits audit exercises and ensuring follow up actions are completed on time.
- Support the review of salary proposals of new hires to ensure consistency of remuneration practices across various business partners.
- Manage and resolve compensation-related issues / queries from internal and external stakeholders – senior management, HODs, HR partners etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a recognised university
- Minimum 12 years of strong track record in Compensation and benefits with 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written communication including strong presentation and engagement skills.
- Good project management skills and knowledge.
- Independent and confident with strong stakeholder management skills.
