Manager - Centre (Senior Care & Active Aging)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the effective utilization of center-based services, including day care, community rehab, and center-based nursing.
  • Conduct initial assessments and orientations for potential clients and families, which may involve accessing and verifying information through the National Means Test System (NMTS) and Financial Assistance (FA) systems.
  • Provide orientation and counseling to clients, family members, staff, and volunteers at the Center.
  • Collaborate with key partners to plan, track, and implement programs and schedules.
  • Assist in managing the budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness in the Center's operations.
  • Identify and plan for training needs for staff and coordinate with HR for required training programs.
  • Manage Center facilities and logistics, including procurement of supplies, vendor and contractor management, and transportation fleet management.
  • Collaborate with the Communications & Development department to secure donations, volunteers, and sponsorships.
  • Manage adverse situations and ensure the well-being of Center clients, staff, and volunteers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information related to the Center, clients, staff, volunteers, and service providers.
  • Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Senior Care Centers and Active Aging Centers.
  • Provide oversight and support to the Center Supervisor in managing the Day Care Center.
  • Collaborate and initiate partnerships with Active Aging partners and stakeholders to enhance health and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in social work, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing senior care or healthcare facilities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, facilities, and logistics effectively.
