Position:
Service Technician / Senior Service Technician
Working Location:
Jurong Area in Singapore
Responsibilities:
• Perform installation and commissioning works at sites.
• Able to troubleshoot, investigate and provide service and evaluation on technical issues that arise.
• Provide technical support and consultation to customers on the system and application.
• Perform coordination and supervision with contractors, vendors and customers during projects implementation.
• Assemble Panels.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test.
• Prepare and submit well written analytical technical reports on time.
• Provide technical training to customers.
• Assist project and operation on shipping and technical documentation.
Requirements:
• ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of products in the marine, offshore and oil & gas industry.
• Able to communicate in English for training, engineering report and communication with our SEA engineering team.
• Experience to meet the MCU, Medpass and Bosiet, OPITO requirement is a must.
• At least 1 year experience with background in industrial automation.
• Familiar with common industrial protocols such as Analog, Modbus and NMEA.
• Knowledge in Flow Meters, RPM Sensors, Tank Level Sensors, Temperature Sensors, Shaft Torque Sensors, a Ship’s Engine Room equipment, a Ship’s Bridge equipment will be an advantage.
• Require frequent traveling on short notice and be stationed on site for 1-2 weeks period at a time.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays, to meet the Marine and Oil Gas schedule requirement.
• Good interpersonal, communication skills and attitude.
• Mature, independent and able to work as a team player to achieve our team goal.
