LOGISTICS PROJECT ENGINEER
Monthly Salary : $3,600 to $4,800
Location: ANG MO KIO
Our client is one of the leaders in the logistics industry, specialized in machinery moving operations. The company is currently hiring an Executive with project-handling and safety coordinator experiences.
The incumbent will work closely with the Project Manager, warehouse and transportation domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in managing and executing projects to meet contractual obligations and to ensure job orders are executed to the best interest of the company.
- Assist the Project Manager at site work coordination and execution.
- Recommend and implement measures to ensure workplace safety.
- Prepare and review risk assessment and safe work procedure.
- Ensure scheduled milestones of projects are met in timely order.
- Coordinate efforts amongst internal departments and ensure effective delivery of work flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of job orders to the management.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete in line with contractual requirements.
- Liaise with the operations team on manpower and equipment planning.
- Handle and manage customers’ queries and reviews.
- Identify and troubleshoot when issues arise.
- Build up close customer relationships.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Possess a certificate in Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience, preferably in the logistics or supplies chain industry
- Experience in supervisory and management of projects, people, work processes
- Outdoor work is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office suites including MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and Auto-Cad
- Effective verbal and written communications
- Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees and customers
- Team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
- Having a Class 3 driving license will be an advantage
